The wine is round
The western aspect and the preponderance of limestone in the soil here
deep even for a wine over three years old
Full of Mediterranean orchard fruit aromas including nectarines
Dry River Pinot Noir 2022 france vincent-girardin The wine is roundDarker notes of oak, oak bark and toasted cumin and coriander spices contrast with lifted fruits of cassis, blood orange, raspberry, and cherries. Then there are the grounding aromatics by way of freshly cut barley straw, nutmeg, and fresh thyme. A great vintage, with its cooler finish that showed interesting contrasts of aromatics.
